So yeah... I'm getting ready for this adventure... It's only 18 days and I'll be gone.
First of all, the entries on this blog will be MOSTLY in english. Even though my mother tongue is spanish, I've got many friends who don't speak or spanish or german... so english it is! :)
Well, I'm pretty scared right now. I know that I'll be sitting in my room in Stuttgart in a couple of weeks thinking of this exact moment writing this entry. Shut! I'm scared!
I hope everything comes out find. I really want to make some friends, because the idea of being alone the first couple days is terrifying.
I'm thinking about my friends, but most of all, my family. How much I'll miss them... Even though a year runs really fast (I look back one year from now and it surprises me, seems like it was yesterday!)... So, my faith is on that... that time goes by pretty fast!
I know living in Stuttgart would be awesome! German culture is pretty cool! Sooo different from mine. I have curiosity, how would they see me: "Wow, look a Latina!"... In Switzerland, people are really reserved, but I don't know if this is the case in South Germany. I also know there'll be plenty of International Students! but I have a goal: Speak as much german as I can! NO english and definitely NO spanish!
I know the International Affaires office is really helpful the first couple of days, so, I've got my faith on that! :)
And well, time passes by, and every day I'm nearer from this great adventure!
I think, next time I post here, I'll be in a room in Vaihingen, Stuttgart!
